Gabriella is a wonderful host - she has prepared a very detailed information pack with every detail you could possibly need, recommending local restaurants, wine tours, walks, running routes, local food shops with very detailed descriptions, and even masseuses who would visit the house. She was also very quick to respond to any questions that we had during our stay. The house itself is absolutely beautiful - much larger than in the photographs, with huge gardens of fruit trees and an enormous vegetable patch. We were very lucky to visit in the first week of September, when the trees were laden with figs, plums, almonds, apples and peaches. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the equipment you might need, and there is a barbecue outside. The location and surrounding area is stunning - we'd recommend taking a pair of trainers for walking. Overall a wonderful trip - thank you for having us!

It was really nice to stay at Gabriella's place. A beautiful house, garden and amazing landscape. To see central Andalucia, this is the perfect spot to stay.

Lovely house, wonderful terraces and gardens, good pool and delightful host. The house is extremely well-equipped, comfortably furnished and beautifully decorated. The gardens and the various terraces are perfect but the whole experience was great. Thanks to Gabriella who was a pleasure to know.

The Alcantarilla is a wonderful place - great finca, perfectly equipped, stunning pool. Gabriella is a perfect host.

We spent a wonderful week in this casa rural. Gabriella was a fabulous host and answered our endless questions about where to eat / shop / swim etc with good humour and enthusiasm. I had been worried about sharing the swimming pool and gardens with the family but this was not a problem in any way. We had a lot of privacy and had the pool every day to ourselves. There's a fantastic river swimming hole nearby too, which my teenagers loved. I was also concerned about the lack of air con but even when temperatures hit almost 40 degrees the house stayed fairly cool. Overall a really great holiday.

We had a wonderful stay at Gabriella's home in Arriate, and have vowed to return during fig season! As it was, we enjoyed pimientos and pomegranates from the garden, and the farmhouse served as both a convenient location from which to explore Ronda, Cueva de la Pileta, Grazalema, Acinipo, Roman ruins, etc., and as a tranquil oasis at the end of our busy days.

Gabriella's house is wonderful and so is she. The house is in a quiet setting but the village of Arriate is only two kilometers away, and bustling Ronda is a ten minute drive away. There is much to do and see in the area,but also the option of doing nothing except enjoying the lovely patio and garden.
